Orion's Oath

In fear, in rage,
Was humanity's reign.
Their Magic was lost,
but Hope remained.

Frozen tears dripped,
His eyeballs red lit.
He cursed them in tongues.
Wanting their flesh to rip.

In rage, in fear,
Humans began to rear.
The Magic regained,
Hope was disdained.

He opened their eyes.
Wide and bright.
The real world they see,
as He returned their cruelty.

With Hope, with Pain,
Humanity gained.
The Dragon of Hope shall rise,
The Pheonix of Pain - dies.

With their Risen swords,
Their thunderous roars,
Their marching feet.
The humans cried,
"Let their be no retreat!"

With Pain, with Hope,
Humanity was now broke.
The Pheonix of Pain Rises,
The Dragon of Hope fell from control.

They Gathered:

The Grim,
The Griphon,
The Leviathan.
All once allies to Hope.

From His trust, From Her Lies,
The gods of old - die.
The Dragon of Hope hasn't an ally.
The Pheonix of Pain shall rise.

They know not of their demise.
It was Hope the Humans faught.
The Dragon is banished from them,
Where He shall learn.

From Her lies, from His trust.
The cycle of Pain turns,
Her heir born.
But Hope isn't yet torn.

He has learned.
Through his new power,
He knows he has not been mourned.
Humanity he pitties, The traitors will be scorned.

Through His loss, through Her victory,
The Hour Glass not yet turned.
Hope awaits for Pain to reawake.

All innocent now know.
All the sinners now gone.
All of man shall now grow.
Hope is still unknown.

Through Her victory, Through His loss,
Starts the New Story.
Humanity still doubts that She has awoke.

The Dragon shall assail,
and use the Forbidden Power.
The Old gods awake,
and to her they devestate.
